Ascendus—in partnership with Resilient—is proud to be the first CDFI in the U.S. to provide its clients insurance products that we pay for to help them protect their families’ finances: a $50,000 Term Life insurance coverage and a $50,000 AD&D (accidental death and dismemberment) coverage.

To qualify for this pilot program, you must be:
- A new or returning Ascendus client
- A resident of New York State,
- Be among the first 120 new or returning clients to have applied for a loan, enrolled in the insurance pilot program, and had your loan approved

Once your insurance is active and you continue to make on-time loan payments, you will continue to receive $50,000 in Term Life and $50,000 in AD&D coverage with no additional cost to you for the entire duration of your loan.
