I authorize Ascendus to initiate a soft pull on my credit for this application and to electronically receive all communications, agreements, documents, notices, and disclosures (collectively, “Communications”) that we, Ascendus provide to you in connection with this application and any other loan inquiry (ies).
I also authorize Ascendus to perform a credit check, which may include obtaining consumer and /or commercial credit reports and to exchange information about credit experience with other creditors from time to time, as authorized by law. The release in any manner by Ascendus of all information is hereby authorized whether such information is of record or not, and I hereby release all persons, agencies, firms, companies, etc., from any damages resulting from such information.
I understand and agree that Ascendus will have access to information in your personal credit report from one or more consumer reporting agencies such as Equifax, Experian, or TransUnion for up to 12 months following this loan offer request for other possible loan programs/offers you may qualify for.
Additionally, I understand Ascendus may use personal credit information to conduct a pre-qualification for credit, send you invitations to apply for, or make follow-up loan offers from partner lenders that may include sharing such personal information to accelerate the loan application process if you accept it.
Ascendus may use publicly available information from its third-party private databank provider to obtain background checks on all applicants serving as personal loan guarantors in adherence to the organization’s fraud prevention policies, and/ or any local or federal government funding requirements before loan approval. By submitting this application, you provide your consent, understanding, and agreement.
I understand that if I am applying as a co-borrower, co-applicant, or co-signer, I am applying for joint credit with the other parties on this application.
I aknowledge that Ascendus has partnered with Dwolla, an independent third-party payment provider we use for the payment functionality of our application. In order to use the payment functionality of our application, you must open a “Dwolla Account” provided by Dwolla, Inc. and you must accept the Dwolla Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Any funds held in or transferred through your Dwolla Account are held or transferred by Dwolla’s financial institution partners. You must be at least 18 years old to create a Dwolla Account. You authorize us to collect and share with Dwolla your personal information including full name, email address and financial information, and you are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of that data. You understand that you will access and manage your Dwolla Account through our application, and Dwolla account notifications will be sent by us, not Dwolla. I understand that if I receive a loan from Ascendus, I must make my full monthly payments on time. I understand that I cannot be delinquent in my repayment of this loan and that I must use the loan for the business purpose I specified in my loan application. I also understand that delinquent loan payments can adversely affect my credit record. I understand that Ascendus will retain this application whether the loan is approved or denied and that I can appeal a denial of this loan request.
